A woman was abducted and killed. One of the suspects drove a service van, the type with an equipment cage behind the seat. Investigators supposed the suspect had placed the woman's body in that area. However, the van was searched and nothing was found. Several other of the company's vans were also inspected, but the only significant difference noted was that the suspect's van was much cleaner than the other vans. In fact, it had apparently been thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned. The M-Vac® was brought in and used to sample the area where they assumed the victim's body had been placed. This was a place she otherwise should never have been. Her full profile was obtained and the perpetrator was arrested.
