Major News Agencies Highlight M-Vac

NBC story

Several major news services reported in late October 2024 on a story out of North Aurora, Illinois, where a murder from 1979 was recently solved. NBC, FOX and the Chicago Tribune all ran stories that highlighted the role the M-Vac™ played in helping to solve this 45-year-old cold case. The industry online magazine, Forensic, also ran an article. The account ran on many media platforms, but we are grateful to those who specifically explained M-Vac's™ involvement. The young woman murdered was Kathy Halle, who was 19 years old at the time of her disappearance. Her body was found in a river weeks after her murder. Police involved in the case long suspected that her perpetrator was a serial killer named Bruce Lindahl, and the DNA evidence recently collected with the M-Vac™ confirmed their suspicion.
